FORMER BLAIR MAN DIES
Tuesday’s Omaha Bee News gave an account of the death of Stewart Smiley of Omaha, aged 65 years. Mr. Smiley was a long-time resident of Blair, a grandson of Judge Bowen who was linked with the early history of Blair and Washington county.
The Smileys left Blair somewhere in the neighborhood of 1890, and but little has been heard of them since that time. The mother, Mrs. Anna B. Smiley, and a sister, Anette, and a brother, Augustus, still survive him.
