MRS. WILL BURDICK PASSES

After an illness of about four hours, Mrs. Will Burdick of Omaha passed away at 11:30 a.m. Monday. She had been her usual self the day before, but at time for arising in the morning had stated that she did not feel so well as she should, and her husband had asked her to lie still and he would prepare the breakfast. To this she acquiesced, but soon called her husband to the bedside, stating that she was deathly ill. The physician was immediately called, but could do nothing. Her brothers, Peter and Watson Tyson of this city were called, and they arrived about a half hour before death came.

Caroline Tyson Burdick was born on the old home farm, known as the Watson Tyson, Sr. farm, in 1867, and was there reared to maturity. On December 26, 1893 she married Will Burdick of Herman, and for a time lived at Perry, Iowa, but for the past thirty five years she, with her husband, has made Omaha her home.

Deceased was well know both in Blair and Herman where she in her early life made friends who have always remembered her. She was active in Eastern Star Circles also, and when in this locality never failed, when opportunity presented itself, to meet with that organization. She was also a faithful member of the Methodist church, and the funeral services were held Wednesday in Omaha at 1:00 o’clock and at 3:00 p.m. from the M.E.church in this city, and interment was made in the Blair cemetery as was her request.

Besides the bereaved husband, she leaves two brothers, Peter and Watson Tyson of this city and two sisters, Mrs. L. D. Warrick and Mrs. C. B. Hain, also of this city who deeply mourn her passing.
