Kristina Marie (Thomsen) Lang
Died on 3/17/1933

23 Mar., 1933 - The Enterprise

News reached Blair late last week of the death in Chicago Friday morning of Mrs. N. P. Lang, well known, especially in local church circles, from her many years of residence here while her husband, the Rev. N. P. Lang was connected with Dana College and Trinity Seminary. Some four weeks ago Mrs. Lang had undergone an operation for the removal of Kristina Marie Thomsen. The operation was considered successful, and the speedy recovery of the patient was looked for, but subsequently complications set in which resulted in her death. She leaves behind her husband and five children, Roy, Leo, Sidney, Raynold and Mabel, all of adult age. A sister and brother-in-law, the Rev. and Mrs. M. Th. Jensen of Hampton, Neb., passed through Blair early Saturday morning enroute to Chicago for the funeral, which was set for Monday afternoon. The Langs built, and occupied during most of their residence here, the house where Dr. N. C. Carlsen and family now live.
