FORMER BLAIR WOMAN PASSES

A letter received by Mrs. Chas. Beckman Monday brought the news of the death on February 10th of Mrs. Addie McBride Sellers Joy of Santiago, California. Addie McBride, as she was known to Blair residents of the early eighties, was a daughter of H. W. McBride who for a long term of years conducted a dry goods business in the building now occupied by the Beckman store. The father was a man of affairs in the city and was vitally interested in the public schools, serving for years as president of the school board.

The daughter married a man by the name of Sellers who operated the clothing store now owned and operated by J. L. Pounds. After his death the widow remarried, and she and her husband were making their home at Santiago at the time of her death.

She leaves two children, a daughter located in Buffalo, New York and a son in Granville, Ohio.
