Funeral services for Mrs. Mary Jane Price, who died Friday morning in Grand Island, were held on Sunday afternoon at two o’clock at the Congregational church, with Rev. H. C. Van Valkenburgh in charge. The deceased was born on Nov. 30, 1851 in Emlentown, Pa. On Dec. 22, 1870 she was married to J. F. Price at Bedford, Pa. and in 1885 they came to Arlington where they spent the remainder of their life, with the exception of the past couple of years which Mrs. Price spent in Grand Island. Six children were born to this union, four of whom, with their father, preceded the deceased in death. The two surviving, J. C. Price and Mrs. William Marshall, both reside here. Nine grandchildren and eleven great grandchildren, besides a large number of other relatives, also survive. The pallbearers were six grandsons; Adolph Otte, A. C. Boldt, Roy Masters, Otto Grotheusen, Lee Marshall and James Marshall.
