HANS GEORGE HANSEN

Hans George Hansen of this city passed away Friday, Febr. 24th after an illness of several months, the result of an automobile accident. At the time of his death he was 51 years, 1 month and 18 days old.

Deceased was born in Denmark, and when three years of age came with his parents to this country. Most of his early life being spent in Blair and vicinity. On June 5, 1908 he was married to Meta Johnson, and to this union two children were born both of whom, with the mother, survive; they are Mrs. Alvin Moore of Carpentersville, Ill. and Irvin Hansen at home. He also leaves three brothers: Carl of Tekamah; Miller of Papillion and Nels of Blair and two sisters: Mrs. J. W. Pokorny of Valparaiso, Nebr. and Mrs. Ed Jacobsen of Raymond, Nebr., who with the wife and children, mourn deeply his death.

The funeral services were held at the First Lutheran church in this city last Sunday at 2 p.m. with Rev. James N. Lund officiating, and interment was made in the Kennard cemetery.
