JOHN S. FRAZIER

John Sanders Frazier was born at Milo, Mo. April 17, 1876, and passed away Feb. 28, 1933 at his home south of Blair at the age of 54 years, 11 months and 11 days.

He spent his early life in Missouri and came to Nebraska in Feb. 1912. He lived most of the time in Burt county, and the last three years were spent in Washington county.

He was married to Anna Davis in Milo, Mo. in March, 1906. To this union eight children were born, three of whom preceded him in death.

He leaves to mourn his departure his wife and five children: Tillman, Mrs. Irene Englert, John S. Jr., Ira and Alwin, all of Blair; also his mother, Elvira Frazier of Sheldon, Mo., five sisters, Mrs. Addie Jones and Mrs. Ella Jones of Sour Lake, Texas; Mrs. Jessie Albin of McFall, Mo., Mrs. Jessie Goodnight of Sheldon, Mo., and Mrs. Mintie Strobe of Blair and two brothers, Ben Frazier of Neva, Mo. and Russell of Glencoe, Okla.

He obeyed his Lord in Baptism and joined the Christian church in 1905 in Milo, Mo. He enjoyed his church work in Blair and was ready at any time to render any service required of him.

He became a Mason in Sheldon, Mo when he was a young man, and was an active member of that lodge continuously. He had been a patient sufferer for several years. He loved his home, family and friends and will be greatly missed.

Funeral services were held at the home Thursday afternoon with Rev. Walter H. Jackson officiating. Interment will be made in the Tekamah cemetery with Masonic lodge in charge.
