Funeral services for John W. McGalliard, 70 years old, of Omaha, were held on Thursday afternoon at two o’clock at the Hoffman chapel. Mr. McGalliard was a former resident of this place, living here for a number of years when he was section boss on the C. & N. W. Railroad. The family moved to Wahoo from here and then to Omaha three years ago. He had been a resident of Nebraska since 1913, an employee of the C. & N. W. railroad for thirty five years. He leaves his widow, Mrs. Belle McGalliard; a son, Verne of El Paso, Texas; a daughter, Mrs. Erith Mason of Omaha and two grandchildren.
