OLE LARSEN

Ole Larsen, aged 76 years and 5 months, passed away at a hospital in Fremont on Feb. 6th following a long illness. Deceased was born in Denmark where he grew to manhood and where at the age of twenty eight years he was married to Eva Ahlgren.

To the union one daughter was born while the family was still residing in Denmark. In 1891 the father came to Washington, this county, where after establishing a home, the wife and daughter followed. Since that time this has been their home. Through all these years he has followed the vocation of farming, and in his little community where he has lived these past years he has many warm friends who knew and respected him for his sterling qualities, and in his death mourn deeply the loss of a true friend and these good friends lend their sympathies to the aged wife and the daughter, Mrs. Jensena Marie Nelson, also of Washington, who survive him.

The funeral services were held Thursday, Feb. 9 at the Washington church, and interment was made in the Prairie View cemetery north of that city.
