Irma Marie Peterson was born in Arlington, April 10, 1897. She was graduated from Arlington high school with the class of 1915. While in the employ of the Arlington Telephone Co. she volunteered as volunteer nurse for the World’s War, and was awaiting her call when the Armistice was signed. She then entered the employ of Dr. Davies as office assistant and remained there until 1923. She was married to Raymond C. Ludwig June 7th 1922. To this union two little daughters were born: Rayma Marie who died in infancy, and Joan Kathleen, now aged seven. She leaves to mourn her passing, besides a loving husband and little daughter, her mother and father, Mr. and Mrs. J. A. Peterson of Arlington; one sister, Mrs. Bernita Rhoades of Guthrie Center, Iowa; three brothers, Dr. Lawrence E. Peterson, Arlington; Theodore Peterson of New York City and John Rodney Peterson of Arlington, beside a large circle of relatives and friends. She was member of the Congregational church, joining when but a child and teaching a Sunday School class for some time, as well as being a member of the Ladies Circle of the church, also of the following organizations: Easter Star, Royal Neighbors and of the American Legion Auxiliary. She departed this life Saturday evening at 5 o’clock, Jan. 7th, at the age of 35 years, 9 months and 27 days. Funeral services were held on Tuesday afternoon at 2:30 p.m. at the Congregational church.
