Funeral services were held Friday, February 13, in Moser Memorial Chapel in Fremont for Mrs. Ruth E. Frei, 80, formerly of Fremont, who died Monday, February 9, 1981, in the Hooper Care Center, Hooper. Burial was in Calvary Cemetery in Fremont.

Ruth E. Frei was born August 1, 1900, in Woodbine, Iowa. She moved to Fremont in 1963 after living in California for 18 years.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Ray Frei, who died July 28, 1974.

She is survived by one son, Leo Hearn, Fremont; and one daughter, Mrs. Patricia Wagen, Fullerton, California. One brother, Cliff Shinn, Fort Dodge, Iowa; one sister, Mrs. Zelma Strode, Blair; ten grandchildren; and 18 great-grandchildren also survive her.
