William F. Miller

Funeral services for Wm. Miller were held at the Methodist church Sunday afternoon at two o’clock conducted by Rev. Jay of Tekamah, assisted by Rev. Norlin. Fred Robertson, L. D. Long, C. R. Gray and L. C. Hansen of Blair sang with Mrs. J. H. Johnson at the piano. The pallbearers were Frank Cranor, Roll Allen, Wilbur Conety, G. F. Lowe, Claude Clements and Kenneth Roe. Burial was made in the Herman cemetery. Wm. Miller was born May, 1888, and died early Friday morning, December 30 at an Omaha hospital following an operation for double sinus trouble. He was married to Miss Grace Lowe February 26, 1913. To this union were born one son, Glen and one daughter, Adelaide. Except three years spent in Canada, two in Tekamah, they have lived on a farm near here. In his passing, Herman is again called upon to mourn the loss of another of our best citizens. Surviving are the wife and children, his mother, Mrs. Dora Miller, one sister, Mrs. Amelia Fitch and one brother, Frank Miller of Washington, besides a host of friends and acquaintances.
