VICTOR E. HOLSTEIN PASSED AWAY DECEMBER 24, 1973

Victor E. Holstein, age 91, of Arlington passed away Monday, December 24th at the Good Shepherd Home in Blair.

Victor was born September 3, 1882 on a farm near Herman. He was married on February 21, 1917 to Jesse B. Marsh in Spiker, Nebraska. He farmed in Washington County in the Spiker area all of his life until he moved to Arlington in 1966 and retired.

Survivors are his wife, Jesse, and sons, Mr. Howard Holstein of Colon, Nebraska, Mrs. Warren Holstein of Arlington, and Mr. Everett Holstein of Blair and one daughter, Mrs. Howard (Florence) Nelson of Bennington. His sisters were Mrs. Mack (Emma) Cameron of Herman and Mrs. Vic (Hattie) Skov of Alta, Iowa, and one brother, Mr. Dewey Holstein of Fremont. There were 14 grandchildren and one great grandchild.

Funeral service arrangements are being made by the Reckmeyer Funeral Home. Services will be Friday, December 28, at the Arlington Community Church at 2:00 p.m. Rev. Bryce Hecht will conduct the services. Interment will be at the Arlington Cemetery.

Memorials are to be sent to the Arlington Community church in Arlington or the Good Shepherd Home in Blair.
