Services for Hattie Leona Skov, 94, Rembrandt, were held Feb. 24 at Jones-Barker Funeral Home, Alta, Rev. Bernie Colors officiated. Burial was in Buena Vista, Memorial Park Cemetery, Storm Lake. Jones-Barker funeral Home, Alta, was in charge of arrangements.

She died Feb. 21, 1990 Spencer Municipal Hospital, Spencer, Iowa.

She was born Oct. 1, 1995 to Christian and Christina (Paulson) Holstein in Hermon, Neb. She attended Spiker School, Spiker, Neb. She married Victor Skov 7 Nov., 1917 in Nebraska. She worked at Consolidated Aircraft, Dan Diego, Calif. during World War 1. Her husband died Sept. 13, 1983. She was a member of Eastern Star, Schaller; and Past Worthy Matron, Herman, Nebr.

Preceding her in death were her parents; husband; one daughter, Lucille Bennett, six brothers and two sisters.

Survivors include one son, Emmett Skov and wife, Viola; nine grandchildren and 20 great grandchildren.
