Services Saturday, Aug. 27, in Oakland

Robert R. Jones, 92, of Oakland, died Tuesday, Aug. 23, 2011, at Oakland Heights Nursing Home in Oakland.

A memorial service will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday, Aug. 27, at the Evangelical Free Church in Oakland. Military honors will be provided by American Legion Post No. 46 and Ryan VFW Post No. 5543. There is no visitation.

Interment will be at a later date at the Fort Calhoun Cemetery.

Memorials are suggested to the Ryan VFW Post in Oakland.
