F. LAMBRECHT DIED TUESDAY NIGHT

Ferdinand Lambrecht, an early settler living south of the Wranch School, died during Tuesday night. He had been a sufferer from rheumatism for years.

Funeral services will be held tomorrow, Friday, at 2 p.m. from the Hayden Mortuary at Bennington, and interment will be made in the German cemetery.

#2-26 Apr., 1945 - The Enterprise

Ferdinand Lambrecht, aged 74 years, 4 months and 28 days, died on the night of the 17th of April at his home in the southern part of the county. He was born in Germany, and came to America when seven years of age and settled in this county.

He was married in 1894 to Miss Anna Wrich. She died in 1898, and in 1900 he was married to Miss Tena Brandt. To them five children were born, all of whom are living - Frank and Paul of Omaha; Ben of Blair; Mrs. Seth Whited of Omaha; and Lina at home. The wife died in 1916.

Besides the members of the immediate family, Mr. Lambrecht is survived by a sister, Mrs. Frank Gasser of Kennard and a half brother, Mike Mueller of Blair, and a half sister, Mrs. Henry Weseman of Kennard.

Funeral services were held last Saturday in Bennington, and interment was made in the German cemetery.

Ferdinand Lambrecht died at his home, 6 miles northeast of Bennington, April 17, 1945, after an illness of several weeks.

He was born in Schleswig Holstein, Germany, November 2, 1870 and was 74 years, 4 months and 28 days old, and had been a resident of that community for sixty-seven years.

He is survived by three sons, Frank and Paul of Benson, and Ben of Blair, and two daughters, Mrs. Seth Whited of Omaha and Mis Lina at home; and one brother, M. H. Muller of Blair; and two sisters, Mrs. Henry Wesemann of Bennington and Mrs. Frank Gasser of Kennard, and six grandchildren.

Funeral services were held Friday afternoon at the Haden Mortuary in Bennington, and were conducted by the Rev. W. F. V. Churchill.

Interment was in the German Cemetery, north of Bennington, and pallbearers were Clark Huber, Louie Kahnk, Henry Suverkrubbe, Chris Christensen, Charles Schneider and Fred Braesch.
