GLEN D. FITCHHORN

Glen Dickerson Fitchhorn was born September 30, 1900 at Pacific Junction, Iowa. He departed this life on November 24, 1936 at Mercy hospital, Council Bluffs, Iowa after a brief illness of seven days at the age of 36 years, 1 month and 24 days. He moved to Nebraska with his parents at the age of 9 years.

In the early years of manhood he united with the Presbyterian church at Plattsmouth, Nebraska.

Graduating from Plattsmouth High school in the year of 1919. Then taking up farming, moved to Missouri Valley, Iowa where he has remained until his untimely death. He was married to Miss Mildred Campbell of Blair, Nebraska August 15, 1927, and to this union five children were born; one son, Larry, preceding him in death.

He leaves to mourn his wife and four children: Letha, Glen, Jr., Johnny and baby Wanda; his father, S. D. Fitchhorn of Plattsmouth; three brothers, Jess of Moorcroft, Wyoming; Ira and Elmer of Plattsmouth, Nebraska; two sisters: Mrs. Katie Haworth of Grand Island, Nebraska; and Mrs. Virgie McCarroll of Plattsmouth, Nebraska and a host of other relatives and friends.

Funeral services were held at the Campbell mortuary Friday, November 27, with the Rev. Thomas J. Reese of Blair officiating.

Interment was made in the Blair cemetery.
