MRS. J. T. EYE PASSES AWAY

Jorgina Eye, age 75 years, passed away at the home of James Andersen on West South street last Thursday afternoon after a brief illness.

Mrs. Eye was born in Copenhagen, Denmark, and when a young girl came to America. She married J. T. Eye and moved to Blair where the husband was employed in the Danish Lutheran Publishing House. The husband passed away last January, and then Mrs. Eye was taken to the home of Mr. and Mrs. Andersen who cared for her until her death.

Two sons, George of Cedar Rapids, Iowa and Louis of Palo, Iowa survive and are grief-stricken over their great loss.

Funeral services were held Sunday afternoon at 2 o’clock from the First Lutheran church of Blair, and interment was made in the Blair cemetery.
