The remains of Mrs. Anna Johnson, widow of Peter Johnson, age 71 years, who died at her home in Omaha on Wednesday, were brought here for burial in the family lot in the Arlington cemetery on Saturday. Mrs. Johnson was well known here, having lived here for many years prior to moving to Omaha ten years ago after the death of Mr. Johnson, who was a well known stock buyer. Mrs. Johnson died following an illness of several months’ duration. Funeral services were held on Saturday afternoon at the Hulse & Riepen mortuary. Surviving are five daughters: Mrs. Fred Hunt, Misses Hilda, Clara, Agnes and Esther all of Omaha; and one son, Elmer Johnson of Denver, Colorado. A number of friends from here attended the funeral services in Omaha.
