FUNERAL SERVICES HELD FOR CHILD

Funeral services for Lorraine E. Knecht, 6 year old daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Henry Knecht, were conducted by Rev. G. W. Wolter on Tuesday afternoon of last week at 1:30 o’clock at the home four miles northwest of Arlington and at 2 o’clock at St. Paul’s Lutheran church.

Lorraine was the last of three children born to Mr. and Mrs. Knecht, all of whom died at an early age.

Rev. Mr. Wolter chose for his text “Blessed Are They That Mourn for They Shall be Comforted”, and the choir sang “Beautiful Savior”.

The pallbearers were four girls, all cousins of Lorraine: Norma Hurtung, Mildred Knecht, Meta Dunklau and Lucille Knecht.
