J. D. CHRISTENSEN

John G. Christensen was born in Denmark August 26, 1865, and passed away at his home near Blair, Nebraska June 19, 1936. At the age of 70 years, 10 months and 18 days.

He was united in marriage to Elise Petersen in 1887 in Denmark. They came to Blair in 1894 and made their home here until the present time. To them were born 11 children, 10 of whom, with their mother, survive him.

The names of the children are as follows: Pete, Miller, Andrew, Christina, Chris, Blanche, Walter, Harry, Leonard and Alfred. Another son, George, died in infancy.

One sister, Christina Miller, one brother, Hans Pete Christensen, 15 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren also survive.
