M. Elizabeth Hyatt was born in Missouri on May 7, 1859, and passed away at the home of her daughter, Mrs. John Shelton, at Blair, Nebraska May 30, 1936 at the age of 77 years and 23 days.

She was married to W. H. Reynolds January 7, 1880 at Atlantic, Iowa, and to this union seven children were born, two of whom preceded her death.

Her husband, two sons, Bert and C. A. of Council Bluffs, Iowa; three daughters, Mrs. I. N. Stoops of Council Bluffs, Iowa; Mrs. Nora Curren, Glenwood, Iowa; and Mrs. John Shelton of Blair, Nebr.; 19 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren are left to mourn her passing.

She was baptized and taken into the United Brethren church at Moulton, Nebr. 45 years ago. She was a faithful wife, a wonderful mother and a kind and faithful friend.
