BOY 3 DIES AFTER TRAMPLED BY HORSE

Attempt to Save Life at Omaha Hospital Proved Futile

SON OF COUNTY COM.

One of the saddest shocks that can come to a family came to the John Fitzgerald family of the Garryowen neighborhood Friday of last week. The little three year old son, Danny, had started out to gather eggs, and while attempting to gather the eggs in a stall with a horse, he was kicked and apparently trampled on.

As soon as the accident was discovered he was rushed to an Omaha hospital, but died shortly after reaching there.

The funeral services were held in Fort Calhoun at the St. Johns church on last Monday morning, and burial was made in the Holy Sepulchre in Omaha.

The father, John Fitzgerald, is the county commissioner from the southern commissioner district of this county, and has a wide acquaintanceship and his many friends join in a great sympathy for both himself and wife in their great sorrow. Their loss is great and the shock sustained is one well nigh impossible to bear.
