#1-26 Mar., 1936 - The Enterprise

Dudley Rosenbaum, a former resident of Kennard, but later of Blair, passed away at his home there Thursday evening. Mr. Rosenbaum had been in ill health for the past year, and all had been done for him that was possible to relieve his suffering. Funeral services were held at the M.E. church in Kennard Saturday afternoon with Rev. E. P. Booher, assisted by Rev. George of Blair, officiating. Interment was made in the Kennard cemetery.

DUDLEY ROSENBAUM

Dudley Rosenbaum, a resident of this county since 1893, died at his home in Blair on Thursday, March 16, after an illness of fifteen months’ duration.

Deceased was born in Washington county, Virginia June 1, 1870, and grew to manhood there, coming here at the age of twenty three years.

In 1912 he was married to Ethel Rosenbaum and for twelve years they made their home in Arlington, later moving to Kennard and a few years back to Blair.

To Mr. And Mrs. Rosenbaum four children were born, John, Mrs. Marion Dennis, Auralee and Opal, all of Blair. All of whom, with the bereaved wife, mourn deeply the loss of the loved father and husband.

During his active years Mr. Rosenbaum followed the carpenter trade, being an expert carpenter, paper hanger and painter, he was always busy, but since moving to Blair his health failed him.

The funeral services were held Saturday at 2 o’clock from the Methodist parsonage in Kennard with Rev. Booher , assisted by Rev. George, officiating, and interment was made in the Kennard cemetery.
