D. BUCH PASSES

Detlef Andersen Buch was born March 25, 1887 in Denmark. He died March 15, 1936 at Blair, Nebraska, aged 48 years, 11 months and 19 days.

When a young man Mr. Buch came to the United States, and on October 1, 1910 was united in marriage to Miss Mary Nielsen in New Haven, Conn. The deceased has lived in Washington county twenty four years, and was well and favorably known. At the time of his passing he was a member of two fraternal organizations, The Danish Brotherhood in Blair and the Masonic lodge at Herman, Nebraska. He united with the Danish Lutheran church in Denmark.

His only brother, Mr. Lauritz Buch, preceded him in death June 5, 1934.

He leaves to mourn his departure his wife, his sister-in-law, Mrs. Carla Buch of Kennard; one nephew, Carl Buch of Long Beach, Calif., three nieces Elsie C. Buch of Omaha, Anna and Ruth Buch of Kennard. Also four sisters who live in Denmark.

In the passing of this man, the wife has lost a good husband and the community an upright citizen.
