Mrs. Frank Naeve, whom we recorded last week as ill in an Omaha hospital, passed away on Wednesday morning. Mrs. Naeve, as Blanche Rosenbaum, was born and reared on a farm west of town. After her marriage to Mr. Frank Naeve she, with her husband, resided for a time at Scottsbluff, Nebraska, but during the past several years they have resided in Kennard. Her death came as a shock to her many friends here who will greatly miss her friendly attitude. Those from out of town who attended the funeral were Mr. Henry McCann and son, Earl of El Reno, Oklahoma, Mrs. Robert Whorlow of Wayne, Mr. and Mrs. Ralph Widener and daughter, Mrs. Chris Peterson, Mr. and Mrs. Ab Rosenbaum of Omaha, Mr. and Mrs. William McCann and daughters, Mr. and Mrs. George Paasch and Anita of Benson, Mr. and Mrs. Hugo Timm of Bennington, Mr. and Mrs. L. F. Kreymborg of Fremont, Mrs. Drusilla McCann, Mrs. Lloyd Dennison, Miss Merle French, Mrs. D. P. Rosenbaum, John and Auralee of Blair. Funeral services were held at the Methodist church of Kennard Saturday afternoon, with Rev. E. P. Booher officiating. Interment in the Kennard cemetery.
