BERNHARD F. SOLL

Bernhard Fredrick Soll passed away at his home west of Blair on Tuesday, Feb. 11 at 5:30 p.m. following an illness of three months. Deceased was a native of Germany, having been born there Feb. 18, 1873. Mr. Soll was 62 years old at the time of his death.

He came to the United States in April of 1882, and for a number of years farmed in the southern part of this county and in Douglas county just west of Bennington. Three years ago he came to Blair, having purchased the J. L. Peterson farm west of Blair where he resided at the time of his death.

He is survived by one brother and four sisters, Fred Soll, Freda Soll, Minnie Soll, Mrs. Mary Nipp, all of Blair and Mrs. Elizabeth Kruse of Elk City.

Funeral services were to be held Friday, Feb. 14, but on account of the bad roads, funeral services were held Tuesday afternoon, Feb. 25th from his farm home west of Blair. Rev. Goede pastor of the German Lutheran church of Bennington officiating. Burial was made in the German cemetery north of Bennington. Pallbearers were Chris Petersen, Cecil Thompson, Walter Petersen, Hans Knudson, Jens Clausen and Charlie Timm.
