MRS. PETER F. PETERSON CALLED

Death came last Sunday night at midnight to Mrs. Peter F. Peterson, who for nine days had been receiving medical treatment and expert care at the Court View hospital in Blair.

Bodil Marie Peterson was born in Denmark April 29, 1858, and came to Nebraska when twenty one years of age. In 1883 she was married to Peter F. Peterson, and they immediately made their residence on the farm which Mr. Peterson owned about three miles east of Telbasta. Here they lived until 1906 when they moved to Blair to spend their declining days in a well earned comfort.

To Mr. and Mrs. Peterson five children were born, all of whom are living, Fred F., John H. and Mrs. Inger Rahlf all of Washington county and Harold O. of Riverbed, New York and Mrs. Ellen DeVecchis of Atlantic City, New Jersey, all of whom mourn deeply their great loss.

The husband passed on in 1928, and since that time Mrs. Peterson has kept her home on South street, but the past year she has been a sufferer from diabetes, and this was the cause of her death. She was a woman of more than ordinary ability, and her children can point to her with feelings of respect and love and her memory will always be cherished.

Funeral services will be held this Thursday afternoon eat 2 o’clock at the Bendorf Funeral Home with Rev. D. A. McCullough of the local Methodist church officiating, and interment will be made in the Blair cemetery.
