JENS PETER LARSEN

Jens Peter Larsen, formerly of Blair, but for the past two years a resident of Winslow, passed away Tuesday, December 31, at the home of his daughter, Mrs. Harry Thielfoldt of that city.

Deceased was born June 23, 1873 in Denmark, and came to Nebraska when eighteen years of age, first locating at Wolback, Nebraska with a brother. In 1900 he moved to Orum, and the following year he was married to Miss Emma Nelson of Blair, and to this union three children were born, two boys who died in infancy and one daughter, now Mrs. Harry Thielfoldt, who, with the wife, mourn deeply his passing. Besides the immediate family he leaves one brother, Hans B. of Wolback and one sister residing in Denmark.

The funeral services were held Thursday afternoon at 2 o’clock from the First Lutheran church with Rev. James Lund officiating, and interment was made in the Orum cemetery.
