MRS. GUS WULF IS STRICKEN THURSDAY

Mrs. Gus Wulf, who since her marriage on January 23, 1913, has lived on a farm about five miles west of Blair, passed away last Thursday, December 19, 1935, at the Court View hospital following an illness of eight days, the contributing cause being appendicitis.

Mrs. Wulf was born in Germany October 28, 1890, and came to this county in August of 1912, and on January 2, 1913 she was united in marriage to Gustav Wulf. To them one son, Alvin, and one daughter, Wilma, were born.

In the year 1922 she, with her son, made a trip back to Germany where they visited her old home and toured the country, and she took great care to make the trip one of educational value to the son as well as a pleasure to herself.

She was a woman of more than ordinary ability and a real wife and mother whose place in the home and the community can never be filled.

She is survived by her husband, her son and daughter and two sisters and two brothers in Germany.

The funeral services were held last Sunday at 2:00 p.m. at the Methodist church with Rev. D. A. McCullough of the Methodist church and Rev. T. J. Reese of the Baptist church officiating, and interment was made in the Blair cemetery.
