BLAIR NATIVE DIES IN WASHINGTON, D.C.

Jean Newell Edington was born in Blair, Nebraska September 28, 1899. At the age of three her hearing was badly impaired, and she was educated in the Nebraska School for the Deaf, graduating at the age of fifteen. She afterward attended Galladet college in Washington. She was married to Wallace Edington October 20, 1917, and their home has been in Washington, D.C. since that time.

She is survived by her husband, two children, Wallace, Jr., age 15, and Eula 13, and her mother who resides in Los Angeles, California. Her father, Oscar F. Newell, was killed in May, 1917.

Jean had been a clerk in the employ of the government for many years, and passed away in Washington, D.C. December 2, 1935 after a short illness.

Her mother left for that city, on receipt of the telegram, to be present at the funeral ceremonies. Interment was made in Washington, D.C.
