VERNA LOUISE PETERSEN DIES

Verna Louise Petersen, daughter of Mrs. and Mrs. _____ Petersen of the Herman vicinity, passed away at the Covenant hospital in Omaha on last Thursday, December 19, 1935. Deceased was ill but a few days, suffering from at attack of pneumonia.

At her death she was past eighteen years of age, and was a bright, energetic young woman well liked by all who knew her, and she will be greatly missed in her circle of friends and her family.

She leaves to mourn her early death her parents and seven brothers and sisters: Henry of Weston, Nebraska; William at home; Carsen of Blair; Mrs. Bertha Wilke of Bennington, Nebraska; Mrs. Marie Schmidt of Blair and Gladys, Lawrence and Irvin all at home, and all are heartbroken over their loss.

The funeral services were held Sunday at 2:00 p.m. from the church at Bennington, and interment was made in the German cemetery south of Blair.
