MRS. P. RISPEN PASSES AWAY

Mrs. Petrina Rispen, living south of Kennard in the Rispen school district, passed away Wednesday morning, December 4th at 10 o’clock at the age of 87 years.

Deceased was born in Denmark, coming to this county when but a young girl, and later was married to Martin Rispen. To them three children were born, one dying in infancy, the two remaining being George of Pender, Nebr., and Mr. Hannah Bryce of Kennard, who, with three grandchildren and three great grandchildren, mourn her death.

The husband died fifty two years ago, but the wife carried on, never leaving the farm where the husband had brought her as a bride, and here she continued her residence until her death.

The funeral services will be held next Saturday at two o’clock from the church at Washington with Rev. James Lund of Blair officiating, and interment made in the Washington cemetery near her home.
