NEILS M. OSTERLUND

Neils M. Osterlund, 74, native of Denmark, died Saturday in an Omaha hospital. Mr. Osterlund was well known in Washington county, having operated a store in Washington and later in Blair. While in this city he operated a clothing store, buying out the business formerly operated by Dan Cassetter. Later he bought a brick building located where the Mose confectionery now stands, buying from the late Mrs. T. E. Hilton. Here he operated in the clothing business until a fire wiped out stock and building. He later established a grocery business just south of the old telephone building on Fifth street in the building recently owned by Charles Gaydou which was torn down a few years ago.

Funeral services were held in Omaha Wednesday afternoon, and interment made in the Blair cemetery.
