SERVICES HELD FOR FREEMAN GODFREY

Freeman Godfrey was born at Blair, Nebraska, January 26, 1880, and passed away December 14, 1944, at Meridian, California. He was united in marriage to Margaret Ann Musgrove in 1908 who preceded him in death in 1925. To this union was born seven children, three of whom preceded him in death; two died in infancy and Charles passed away in 1942. Those surviving are: Mrs. Iola Hull of Wentworth; Mrs. Eldora Garoutte of Kansas City, Mo.; Mrs. Frances Ridpath of Pierce City and Edmond Godfrey of Norfolk, Virginia. There are also four grandchildren. He was united in marriage to Harriet Flagar in 1942 who was with him at the time of his death.

Services were held at 2 p.m. December 21st, at the Wentworth Presbyterian church with Rev. G.T. Kelley officiating. Burial was in the Weaver Cemetery north of Oronogo. The Wessel Funeral Home was in charge of the funeral arrangements.
