With much regret our people learned of the death of Anson T. Johns, which occurred at his home in Blair Saturday noon. Mr. Johns was one of our oldest pioneers coming to the county in the fifties and making his home here ever since. He leaves to mourn his loss several children, all of whom have the sympathy of a large circle of friends. The funeral was held Tuesday forenoon at the residence under the auspices of the Masonic Lodge of this city of which he was not only one of the oldest but among the most faithful members. His life was full of good works and his friends are numerous as his acquaintances.
