FORMER BLAIRITE DIES IN MISSOURI

Blair friends received word this week of the death of Robert McClandish, aged 55, a nephew of Jake Markel, and a former resident of Blair. His death occurred Monday morning, and was caused by a stroke of paralysis, said to have resulted from a severe nosebleed. At one time he and Curtis Bugeon were in the hotel business in Lincoln together.

Funeral services were held in Kansas City Wednesday. Surviving are his widow, two daughters and three sons. One of the latter is very prominent in Kansas City business circles, friends of the family say. The sons are Robert, Jr. of Kansas City, William of Los Angeles and Donald of Oklahoma City. The daughters are Mrs. Donnie Featherstone of San Francisco and Mrs. Margaret Bumschley of Los Angeles, California.
