Services are 10 a.m. Wednesday, Aug. 5, at Moser Memorial Chapel in Fremont. Interment will be at Fremont's Memorial Cemetery, with military services conducted by members of VFW Post 854, and American Legion Post 20 of Fremont.

Visitation will be from 2 to9 8 p.m. Tuesday, Aug. 4, with the family receiving friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Visitation will continue Wednesday, one hour prior to services.

Randy R. Anderson was born Jan. 24, 1952, in Kearney to Clarence W. and Gerri Anderson.

He grew up at Gibbon, and moved to Arlington in 1967. He was a 1970 graduate of Arlington High School.

He enlisted in the United States Air Force during the Vietnam War, and served from 1970 to 1974. He returned to Arlington after his discharge from the service and lived there until moving to Fremont in 1982.

He had worked for area farmers, and then was employed as a mechanic at Victor's Inc. He later worked for Western Sand & Gravel in Fremont.

He enjoyed bowling, fishing, farming and fixing anything that was broke.

He married Sue Wehner on Dec. 21, 1974, in Fremont. The couple later divorced.

Mr. Anderson is survived by his son, Matt Anderson of Fremont; daughter and son-in-law, Michelle and Jeff Kluthe of North Bend; three grandchildren; mother, Gerri Waage of North Bend; four brothers and sisters-in-law, Jay and Marlene Anderson of Scribner, Gary and Sue Anderson of North Bend, Denis and Theresa Anderson of Fremont, and Danny and Robin Anderson of Arlington; six nieces and four nephews.

He was preceded in death by his father and a brother Dell.
