HENRY BUMAN

Funeral services for Henry Buman were held Sunday afternoon at 2 o’clock at the Methodist church here with Rev. C. C. Norlin officiating. Music was furnished by a male quartette composed of L. D. Long, Roland Wachter, Fred Robertson and C. R. Gray with Mrs. F. B. Shrader at the piano. Interment was made in the Herman cemetery. Henry P. Buman, son of Henry and Emma Buman, was born in Germany January 22, 1850, and died at Herman, Nebraska May 17, 1935, aged 85 years, 3 months and 25 days. He was baptized and confirmed in the Lutheran church at the age of 16. He came to America in 1881. He lived in Iowa two years, then came to Herman where he has since resided. He has made his home with his sister, Mrs. Dora Miller. Surviving are two sisters, Mrs. Dora Miller of Herman, Mrs. Lizzie Strauser, one brother, Jim, one niece, Mrs. Amelia Fitch and one nephew, Frank Miller of Bennington.
