Funeral services were held at Methodist Church for Harland French, 64 years of age, of Fremont, who died Sunday in a Fremont Hospital.

The Rev. Mrs. C. V. Powell officiated with interment in Kennard Cemetery.

Mr. French is survived by his wife, Clara; two sons, Warren of Yankton, South Dakota and Gene of Grand Island; two sisters, Mrs. Pearl Rhea of Fremont and Mrs. Edith Gaines of North Bend and five grandchildren.

Mr. French was born January 9, 1897, at Kennard. He married Clara Widener, August 13, 1919, in Fremont. The couple lived at Kennard until 1942 when they moved to Omaha. They have lived in Fremont since 1956.
