JOHN FRED CHRISTIANSEN, TELBASTA, DIES

John Fred Christiansen, who for some time had been in failing health, suffered a stroke last Saturday afternoon, from which he died at 2:30 Sunday morning. For some time both Mr. and Mrs. Christiansen had been making their home with Mrs. Christiansen’s brother, Herman Christ, of near Telbasta, and it was here that he passed away.

Deceased was born in Omaha sixty four years ago, and was married to Miss Tracy Christ in 1893, and he leaves four brothers and six sisters, besides the wife, to mourn his death.

The brothers and sisters are: Lawrence of Omaha; George of Hartington; Chris of Akron, Colorado; Walter of Wisner; Mrs. Nellie Larsen of Uehling; Mrs Gertie Friedrichsen of San Pedro, California; Mrs. Lucy Larson of Blair; Mrs. Nora Clausen of Hartington; Mrs. Stella Williamson of Herman and Mrs. James Mose of Blair.

Deceased was a member of the Danish Lutheran church of Orum and also of the Danish Brotherhood lodge.

Funeral services were held at the Orum church at 2 p.m. Tuesday, April 16, with Rev. Immanuel Petersen officiating, and interment was made in the Orum cemetery
