Jake Good Burial Monday March 11, 1946

Jake Good, formerly of Blair, was buried here on Monday afternoon. At his death he was 61 years of age. He died at the home of a daughter, Mrs. Joe Jiles, in Omaha.

Jake was reared in Blair. He was married to Bertha Halstead and two sons and three daughters were born to them. The wife died twelve years ago. The sons are Roy and Iner, and the daughters are Mrs. Barbara Francis, Mrs. Joe Jiles and Mrs. Charles Lawson, all of Omaha.

Mr. and Mrs. Good, in their early married life, resided in Walthill, Nebraska, where for a number of years they operated a hotel. Later they moved to Omaha. The immediate cause of his death was heart trouble from which he had suffered for about three months.

Deceased was a foster brother of our townsman, Menne Good.
