Inez H. French, 94

Services are 2 p.m. Tuesday, Dec. 31 at the Arlington Community Church in Arlington for Inez H. French, 94, of Arlington, who died Dec. 29, 1996, at Arbor Manor in Fremont. Rev. Carol A. Taylor will officiate. Burial will be in the Arlington Cemetery.

Order of Eastern Star services, conducted by members of the Sarepta Chapter No. 48 will be held at the Cemetery.

Inez H. French was born April 5, 1902, at Kennard. She grew up in Kennard and was a graduate of Kennard High School.

She attended Midland Lutheran College in Fremont for one year. She taught at the March School and the Whitford School, both in Washington County.

She had been living at Arbor Manor in Fremont since Sept. 1993.

She was a member of the Arlington Community Church. She had served in all chairs, was Chapter Treasurer for many years and was a past Worthy Matron of Sarepta Chapter No. 48 Order of Eastern Star. She also belonged to several card clubs.

She married Leslie M. French June 10, 1925, at Blair. He preceded her in death Oct. 20, 1988.

She was also preceded in death by her parents, Andrew and Anna Rosenbaum Jeppesen; brothers, Milo Jeppesen and James Jeppesen and sisters Opal Jeppesen and Irma Misfeldt.

She is survived by two daughters and sons-in-law, Ina Deane and Loran Rogers of Arlington and Nila and Duane Chappelear of Arlington; seven grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren.

Pallbearers will be Larry Rogers, Lynn Rogers, Lane Rogers, Douglas Chappelear, Mark Chappelear, Tom Chappelear and Londo Auch.

Memorials may be directed to the Arlington Community Church.

Reckmeyer-Moser Funeral Home in Arlington is in charge of arrangements.
