David J. Barker, age 74 years passed away Monday at the home of his daughter, Mrs. Elmer Frain of East Nebraska street following an illness of a months duration. Deceased had made his home in Blair for the past four years and prior to that date he resided in Burt county.

The funeral services were held Wednesday afternoon at the Christian church and burial was made in the Tekamah cemetery.
