WM. MICHEEL DIES

Another old settler was called by death last Saturday, March 16 in the person of William Micheel. He had suffered an attack of flu and was confined to his bed for eleven days before the end came.

Deceased was born November 28, 1855 in Schleswig Holstein, Germany, and came to this county in his early manhood. He was married April 6, 1884 to Miss Maggie Puls and settled on the farm about two miles southeast of Kennard. Here the family was reared.

In his active years Mr. Micheel did his share in the civic and social work of his neighborhood, and for years was a member of the local school board.
