MRS. FRANCES COOPER DIES

Mrs. Frances Cooper, well known among the older residents of Blair, passed away Friday, March 1st, at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Dick Stricklett on West South street.

Deceased was born in 1851, and on July 27, 1871 she was united in marriage to John Cooper, who preceded her in death 19 years ago. She is survived by one brother, George Pennington of Grand Island, and one sister Mrs. Oliver Greeno of Randolph, Nebraska, besides a large number of nieces and nephews.

Funeral rites were held from the Bendorf Funeral Home last Sunday with Rev. Thomas J. Reese officiating, and interment was made in the Blair cemetery beside the husband who had passed on before her.
