MRS. C. BALTRUSCH DIES IN SEATTLE

Through the kindness of Miss Clara B. Allen of Seattle, Washington, we are in receipt of the following clipping from a Seattle paper relative to the death of a former Blair resident, Mrs. Charles Baltrusch. A few Blair people will remember the Baltrusch family. Charley was in the mercantile business here in Blair for a number of years, and built the building now occupied by the Danish Lutheran Publishing House.

The clipping follows: “Mrs. Susana Baltrusch, 82 years old, died yesterday after a brief illness at her home, 135 N. 75th St., where she had resided the thirty five years she had been in Seattle. Requiem mass will be said tomorrow morning at 10 o’clock at St. John’s church, 7900 First Ave., N. W., with her grandson the Rev. Gerald Baltrusch officiating. Burial will be in Calvary under the direction of the Booth-Ashmore Mortuary.
