MRS. ROB’T. HEATON PIONEER DEAD

Mrs. Robert Heaton, who as a baby in arms, came to Washington county with her parents, the late Mr. and Mrs. William Maher, in 1857, died suddenly Tuesday morning at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Merrill Rohrbough, 304 South fifty first street in Omaha. She was a sister of the late James E. Maher.

Mrs. Heaton was the widow of Robert Heaton, pioneer elevator operator in Saunders county. Her home was formerly in Wahoo, but since the death of Mr. Heaton, she had lived with Mrs. Rohrbough.

In addition to her daughter, she is survived by a sister, Mrs. Fred Cunningham, Portland, Oregon; a son, Dr. William Heaton of New York City; and five grandchildren: Mrs. Frank Leonard, Denver, Colo.; Mrs. Mark Reames, El Paso, Texas; and Betty, Merril, Jr. and Jack Rohrbough, all of Omaha. Burial was at Wahoo.
