CARL VOGT DIES SUDDENLY

Carl Vogt, prominent farmer and businessman of the Arlington community for many years, died suddenly at his home last Thursday afternoon. He was sitting in a chair reading a newspaper when he was fatally stricken.

Funeral services were held Sunday afternoon at 1 o’clock at the home and at 1:30 o’clock at the St. Paul Lutheran church with Rev. G. W. Wolter in charge.

Mr. Vogt, who was 75 years of age, was president of the Farmers’ Grain and Lumber company of Arlington. He is survived by five sons: William, Fred and Otto of Arlington; Herman of Truman, Minn.; and Edward of St. James, Minn.; and one daughter, Mrs. Henry Laaker of Arlington.
