HERMAN POSTMASTER DEAD

Hiram B. Cameron, oldest son the late Mr. and Mrs. J. H. Cameron of Herman, passed away last Friday morning after a lingering illness. Mr. Cameron, while not widely known, was highly respected in his community which he had served for the past twenty one years as postmaster.

At his death he was fifty nine years old and besides the bereaved wife, he leaves three brothers, Charles, Howard and Max, all well known in this vicinity.

The funeral services were held Sunday with Rev. Poucher of Omaha, Rev. Reese of Blair and Rev. Norlin of Herman officiating, and interment was made in the Herman cemetery.

In the death of Mr. Cameron his community suffered a distinct loss. He has, at all times, been loyal to Herman, and has lived a life well worthy of emulation.
